  • Once you submit the details via our Order Title 24 form, you will immediately receive an email from viranchi@gettitle24.com confirming receipt.
  • We will start working on the Title 24 compliance calculations for your building design asap and drop you an email from projects@gettitle24.com.
  • The Title 24 compliance calculations could take a day or two for most Residential projects. On larger and more complex projects it could take longer.
  • During compliance calculations, we create a detailed computer model and run multiple simulations on your building design. This is required since almost all projects don’t comply as is and require some or the other upgrades to comply. The energy code allows for tradeoffs between the different parts of the building design and hence running multiple simulations with each of the possible upgrade combinations is important to come up with the most cost effective and practical set of upgrades that work for your project.
  • Once we are done with the calculations, we will send over a set of draft specifications to you. Those would be an optimal set of building specifications/upgrades that your project requires in order to comply with the Title 24 Energy Code, per our Title 24 calculations. These specs would include the insulation values, window performance ratings, HVAC and Water Heater efficiency requirements, additional HERS measures, etc. It would essentially be a readable  summary of your Title 24 report and give you an idea of what building specifications you would need to meet during construction in order to comply with the Title 24 energy standards.
  • On receiving the draft specifications, it is important that you review them and let us know if you would like us to make any changes, corrections or retry compliance using alternate upgrades. As mentioned above, the code allows us to make tradeoffs between the different components of the building design. Hence we can work along with you to adjust the draft specifications per your preference, within the constraints of the energy code. Hence your review, comments and final go ahead is very important to move to the next step.
  • Once the draft specifications look alright, please give us a go ahead so we can move to the final step which is generating and registering the final Title 24 report.
  • Once we receive your go ahead on the draft specifications, we proceed with the registration of the report. During this step, we sign off as the Documentation Author on the report. We are also CABEC Certified Energy Analysts which further adds weightage to the report. Besides our sign off, we also require the digital sign off of the responsible person (which can be the Architect, Designer, Builder or Homeowner-Builder). For the sign off, an email is sent to the email id of the responsible person from cheers.org. The responsible person simply needs to press the sign button in the email to complete the sign off.
  • Once the report is signed off, we compile the reports onto 8×11 as well as Plan Size PDFs (24×36 or 30×42) and send them to your email. These Title 24 report PDFs are registered, water marked and all ready to be submitted to the city. Please add them to your plans and update the sheet index before submitting to the city
  • After you receive and submit the report, we are always available for any assistance and take up any revisions or corrections throughout the project cycle. Your long term comfort and satisfaction is our utmost priority! The payment for our Title 24 service is to be made online (via any Card or PayPal) at the time of placing the order for the Title 24 report or within 2-3 days of starting with the Title 24 calculations.
